To embark on tours across anywhere in north India, Delhi offers itself as the most ideal base. Therefore, in order to travel across the mystic Himalayaregions, first arrive in Delhi and then proceed towards the other destination. OverNights stay for you will be arranged in a Delhi hotel.
DAY 02: Delhi - Amritsar.On the 2nd day, you will travel from the national capital Delhi, early in the morning, to arrive in Amritsar, a holy city for the Sikhs. Amritsar is one of the most popular destinations in Punjab, a north Indian state. Post-lunch you can visit the topmost attractions housed here like the Golden Temple and the Wagah Border.
DAY 03: Amritsar - Pragpur.On the 3rd day of the tour, you will travel from Punjab to Himachal Pradesh, the next destination in question. The first destination in Himachal Pradesh that you will head towards is Pragpur. Located in the Kangra Valley, Pragpur is a heritage city, also one of the significant Hindu pilgrimage centers in India. While here, visit the Jwalamukhi temple and other scenic spots.
DAY 04 - 05 - 06: Pragpur - Dharamshala.From Pragpur the next destination that you will head towards is Dharamshala located at a distance of about 65 km. Therefore, it will take you about 1.5 hours to reach there. Visit the prime attractions housed in this place including the Buddhist monasteries and the Hindu temples. A few of the most significant names to mention here are the monasteries of Mcleodganj, the Norbulingka Institute of Performing Arts, and the Bhagshunag temple. On the 5th and the 6th day of the Himalayatour, explore the beauty of Dharamshala with the majestic Dhauladhar ranges giving it constant support and beauty. A stroll along the main market area and tasting local food of the place will facilitate you a better glimpse of the place.
DAY 05: Dharamshala - Palampur.On the 7th day of the tour, leave Dharamshala to arrive in Palampur, another enchanting destination in Himachal Pradesh. The tea estates of the place, the bubbling waters of the Beas River, and the pilgrimage sites, all contribute towards making this place a tourist’s haven. The most popular attractions housed here are the Baijnath temple, the Tashijong monastery, and the Taragarh Palace and these are the destinations you will visit today.
DAY 06: Palampur - Manali.On the 8th day of the tour, proceed towards Manali, located at a distance of about 8 hours drive. Therefore, start off the journey early and arrive in Manali by dusk. Since you will not have much time to explore the beauty of the place, you can retire early.
DAY 07: Manali.Explore through the attractions of Manali on the 9th day of the tour. The Hadimba temple, the Manu temple, and the hot water springs located here are the topmost attractions to lure tourists into coming here.
DAY 08: Manali - Keylongi.Early morning on the 10th day, you can embark on excursions to the Rohtang Pass to capture some really interesting visuals of the snow. Participate in adventure activities or explore the natural heritage of the place; the choice is ultimately yours.
DAY 09: Keylong - Sarchu.After breakfast, proceed higher up in the map and travel down to Sarchu and spend the Nights there. Sarchu is an interesting transit point for guests visiting Leh.
DAY 10: Sarchu - Leh.On the 12th day, continue your travel to Leh and check into the hotel on arrival for an overNights stay. Make yourself at ease within the cozy comfortable hotel rooms
DAY 11: Local Leh.Today after breakfast around (10:00 A.M) we will leave for a easy , sightseeing tour with local guide including, a visit to the Thiksey Monastery, stok palace and village. We will be back to Leh by late afternoon and in the evening visit Shanti Stupa and Leh fort, rest of the time free to walk around the local market of Leh. Second night in same hotel in Leh
DAY 12: Leh to Pangong Lake.After breakfast we will be driving you to Pangong Lake (4,350 metres / 14,500feet). Today we will cross Changla Pass 17,350 ft. It is the third Highest Motorable road in the world. Pangong Lake is the largest lake in the Himalayas situated at a height of about 4,350 metres (14,300 ft). It is 134 km long and extends from India to China (Chinese occupied Tibet) 60% of the length of the lake lies in China. The lake is 5 km wide at its broadest point. Spangmik, the farthest point to which foreigners are permitted, is only some seven km along the southern shore from the head of the lake, but it affords spectacular views of the mountains of the Changchenmo range to the north, their reflections shimmering in the ever-changing blues and greens of the lake’s brackish waters. Overnight in luxury tented accommodation at Spangmik- Pangong Lake at Alpen glow camp / similar in Leh.
DAY 13: Pangong Lake to Leh Back.Today after Breakfast we will spend our time walking around the lake and later drive you back to Leh town over the same route, on the way back there are chances to see marmots and even to meet the Nomadic people who come to the nearby mountains of Changla pass with their Yaks. Reach Leh by evening. Overnight in hotel in Leh.
DAY 14: Leh to Deskit – Hunder - Nubra Valley.After breakfast we will drive you on the Ancient Silk Route from to Nubra valley, over the world’s highest Motorable road Kardungla Pass- 18,380 feet will drive you to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Arrive at Deskit and check in to your hotel and after lunch drive to Hunder village (6-8 kms) where you can visit the sand dunes and enjoy the ride on double humped Bactrian camel. These double humped camels are left here from the time when silk caravans stopped trading through the old traditional routes in the modern times. Overnight in Nubra Deluxe Camp / hotel at Nubra.
DAY 15: Nubra to Leh back.After Breakfast we will visit the local monastery in Deskit and further drive you back to Leh town over the Khardung La pass and will reach Leh by late afternoon. Evening we will visit Shanti Stupa and will have a walking tour in the local market of Leh town. Overnight in hotel at Leh.
DAY 16 : Fly from Leh to Delhi.INCLUSIONS
